A High-tech department with all modern equipment to provide histopathology reports for Cancer and non-Cancer related biopsies as well as for cytology specimens.The dual head-teaching microscope has a camera attachment that would enable photographs to be attached to patient reports. It also has a video recording facility, so that every slide can be reviewed, recorded and discussed across the globe if required, by video conferencing. It would also help in the teaching program for residents in pathology and surgery to learn basic histopathology.
