Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh is an Onco-Surgeon, with 12 national and 5 international presentations to his credit till date. He was also selected for ‘UICC’ i.e. ‘International Union Against Cancer’ fellowship at University of Maryland, Baltimore, and USA in 1995. He had been chief co-coordinator for WHO project for cancer of cervix. His surgical work is mainly on cancer of breast, cancer of esophagus and colorectal cancers. According to him, the multimodality treatment and team approach for cancer treatment are the main pillars of strategy for treatment of cancer.
