This department is fully supported with investigational facilities. It was among the first in the country to have a CT Scan and MRI on the premises and the MRI studies include MR Angiography, diffusion and perfusion scans. Routine nerve conduction, EMG, Evoked Potential and EEG are available on a regular basis.
The department is backed by a full fledged trauma center and a fully equipped and manned intensive care unit for treatment of strokes, head injuries and comatose patients.

Neurosurgery Operation Theatre
The Neurosurgery OT provides a contamination free atmosphere, provided through the laminar flow system aiming at zero infection rate for planned operations. Monitoring facilities such as a two-channel monitor, capnograph, pulse oximeter and sophisticated ventilation, provides safety in high-risk patients and in complicated brain surgery. The BERCHTOLD (overhead light source) increases comfort and efficiency of the Surgeon during long hours of Neurosurgery operations.
