Blood Bank

Ruby Hall Clinic’s Blood Bank started way back in 1979. It is one of the oldest Blood Bank in the city providing safe blood to the patients admitted in ruby hall clinic as well as out side. The blood bank provides not only whole blood but also blood components like packed red cells, fresh frozen plasma, platelet rich plasma, platelet concentrate and cryo precipitate. It also has a facility to provide single donor platelets that is Aphoresis platelets to the patients.

To collect and process the blood in to the above components it has a well equipped blood bank with the component separator laboratory and aphoresis unit. It has a testing lab with latest equipments to test the blood for various diseases. We provide 24 hr service seven days a week four weeks a month for 12 months including sundays and holidays.
