Paediatrics Surgery

The pediatric department of Ruby Hall Clinic is one of the best facilities available in Pune catering for children's health. Being a part of the 550 bedded strong multispecialty hospital (R.H.C) it can manage all emergencies in both new born and children. The department has 15 indoor beds, 4 PICU beds, 10 NICU beds and extra beds are always available when required.

There are 4 Pediatric Physicians with vast experience and a pediatric surgeon to manage all the emergencies. There are junior staffs in the form of 4 registrars and house physicians for help. The unit is fully equipped with all modern gadgets like ventilators both conventional and high frequency, multimode monitors, iv infusion sets, surfactant, TPN to name a few.

The team along with experienced pediatric and neonatal nursing staff successfully manages conditions like respiratory failure, Road traffic accidents, neurological cases, emergency surgical cases, advanced neonatal and pediatric ventilation, surgical cases like congenital diaphragmatic hernias, volvulus and Post Cardiac surgical cases quite successfully.

The team also runs outpatients clinic daily from 9am to 5pm, which includes general pediatric clinic, genetic clinic, high risk new born clinic, pediatric surgical clinic, child psychology clinic, orthopedic, neurology, speech therapy clinic, and ENT clinics.

Being part of a multispeciality hospital, help is always available from other specialties like Nephrology, Neurology, and Cardiology departments whenever required. The department provides complete and comprehensive treatment for all childhood maladies under one roof. The department also has an academic wing, which provides teaching and conducts examinations for both undergraduate and postgraduate students in pediatrics.
