Dr. Swapneel Karne, MBBS, MS, is well regarded Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Ruby Hall Clinic. His areas of interest include total arterial beating heart coronary artery revascularization, heart transplant, minimally invasive CABG, ASD closure and complex surgeries for congenital heart disease.

Dr. Swapneel has been trained internationally, in minimally invasive cardiac surgery and in Mitral valve surgery and has built a stellar clinical record of having performed over 7000 open heart surgeries viz CABG, Valve Surgeries and Peadiatric cardiac surgeries with low morbidity.

Having received the prestigious Dr CV Sadashivam gold medal by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, Dr. Karne continues his journey of learning by not only achieving academic excellence but by also staying updated with current clinical research, development and association with some notable organisations like, Life member of European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, India Society of Heart & Lung Transplant.
