Dr. Vinit Shah

Dr. Vinit Shah, MBBS, DNB, is a Consultant Senior Consultant for Liver Diseases (Hepatology) and Liver Transplantation Medicine at Ruby Hall clinic. He has been trained under excellent guidance of legends like Prof SK Sarin and Prof Mohammed Rela. He then continued being a mentee of Prof Mohammed Rela by leading the Liver Diseases and Liver Transplantation Medicine Department at BGS Gleneagles Global Hospitals, Bengaluru for 2 years resulting in the formation of one of the most successful Liver Diseases and Liver Transplantation programmes in Bengaluru. He then translated the same in Pune.

With over 10 years of experience in the field of Liver transplants and diseases, Dr. Vinit has been a part of 500 Liver transplants.

He has published on topics like, Acute Kidney Injury in Cirrhosis, Acute on Chronic Liver Failure, Liver Transplantation in HIV Positive Patients in various notable National and International Journals.

He has presented papers on important issues in Liver diseases at prestigious annual International liver diseases conferences such as, American association for Study of the Liver (AASLD), European Association for study of Liver (EASL) and won DST (Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, International Travel grant and Young Investigator award for the same.

Not only has he been awarded for his excellent academic performance but he continues to win accolades for his ongoing clinical work at various national level conferences.
